Jody Mae Boudreaux went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the age of 47 after a 2-year courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born on January 28, 1978 in San Antonio, Texas, she was the cherished wife of Donny Boudreaux of 22 years and beloved daughter of Donna and Wayne Owen.
Jody graduated from East Central High School with the Class of 1996 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. She was a kind, loving, and devoted daughter, wife, and mother who always put others before herself.
A dedicated homeschooler, Jody took great pride in raising her children with strong values, a deep sense of faith, and a love for learning. Her family will deeply miss her comforting embrace, her warm spirit, and her unforgettable cooking.
Jody was a long-time member of Believers Fellowship, where she nurtured a steadfast faith that carried her through life’s most difficult moments. She also had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in riding horses. Her legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Donny Boudreaux; her children, Cole Owen Boudreaux, Leah Patricia Boudreaux; parents, Donna and Wayne Owen; Father-in-law, Don Boudreaux, Sisters-in-Loves Rachel Verbit and Donnel Schmidt; their families and numerous other people, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gil and Thelma Owen; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Beverly Morton; mother-in love, Pat Boudreaux; brother-in-law, Brad Reh; and niece, Tracie Hester.
