  2. The Furlong’s were neighbors. Joe and I went to high school together and then were Freshman roommates at Texas State. I always thought he had a great sense of humor. His true love at that time was his Mustang. Sorry to say I lost track of him through the years but want to extend my condolences to his family. “Go Rest High on that Mountain”….

  3. I have many fond memories of Joe. He always made me laugh and he will always have a special place in my heart.
    Love always-

  4. Joe, sad to see he passed. We shared a cul-de-sac in Converse. My daughter asked about him this morning. Joe made Texas for us, very neighborly man who loved life. He bought my kiddos multiple helmets, as they were toddlers riding scooters. Would snag em at the pawn shop and bring ‘em by.
He gave me some coins he found one time too.

My wife and I were sad hear of his passing. I called and his line was disconnected several months back. Just figured he changed his number…

Gave some good advice to a younger guy muddling through life. He got to watch my kids grow from across the street. Moved in 2020 and out august 2022. My son loved his corvette.

Kind man who knew everyone. I’m sure he made an impact on many people.

Condolences to his family, and his daughter whom he spoke about often.
