John Coleman, Jr.

john coleman, jr.
John Coleman Jr. was born at 9:17am on July 15, 1977 to Debra Coleman and John Coleman Sr. at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. John (affectionately known as Junior) was a loving son, brother, father and friend who gave of himself and always thought of others first. John completed his education at St. Philip’s College in 1995. John was gainfully employed through security positions to advancing as a night supervisor working at a facility serving the disadvantaged youths. On December 9th, 2004 John and Brandi Thomas blessed us with the birth of their loving daughter Briyanna J. Coleman, whom he jokingly called Piglet, because as a baby, she would snort like a piggy when she was hungry instead of crying. John loved being with his family and friends. He loved the SPURS and any emblem with the 210 area code on his clothing or hats. John loved the color Blue. He also loved singing Karaoke Songs and could often be heard performing his favorite song ” I Believe I Can Fly.“ John always had a keen taste for cars and loved good music. His favorite dish was Enchiladas just like his dad John Sr. who preceded him in death in Oct. of 2019. John leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter Briyanna Joann Coleman, his mother Debra Mack, his sister Tambra Coleman ( Frank Savage ), his brother Rashion Coleman, his aunt Patricia Harris ( Carl Harris ), uncle Clifton Bean ( Patty Bean ), two nephews, two goddaughters and a host of other relatives, friends and associates. John will be sorely missed and will forever live on in our hearts!

  1. Debra, Tambra, Bri and Family– We are so sad for your loss, Jr. will be truly missed, but will remain in our hearts. Keeping you in prayer. Love,

  2. John was the closest child hood friend I had. He was always laughing, joking, singing, and rapping. He was always the life of the party, never to be out shined. I was lucky enough to see him before I left Texas this past May – mainly because John was the kind of guy to make sure he kept up with his friends. A true friend till the end – gone but not forgotten. R.I.P. -Shawn
