Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Cindy, what can anyone say better than the quote at the end of the obituary. I will always remember best John’s sense of humor. He could be so dry witted or get the family knee slapping. You have shared a great partner in life for 37 years – few of our generation can boost that. My heart and soul have been with you and the family since August 23 when I found out. See you soon when these sad days turn to fond memories of John’s live. With sincere love, Woody

  3. Those we love don’t go away,

They walk beside us every day,

    Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Fly peacefully with the Angels Uncle Johnny….Forever in my heart

  5. So many memories over the past 30+ years. John, you and Cindy have been so special to us, and now you are no longer here. How we wish you could return. We feel an empty place in our hearts and lives. We grieve for all that has been, all that we did not want to end. We pray that God will heal Cindy and the family and friends.

We will never forget you or how you touched our lives and contributed to what we have become because of you.

    With much love,

Gary, Quency, Anna, Kyle, Eli, and Austin

  9. Our family is very loud and boisterous, crazy, at times obnoxious, but always very loving. John came into our family and fit right in, even adding his own unique insanity whether that be with his quick one liners, his clothing style (who else could pull off those crazy shirts), or even his prankster antics. One of the classics he pulled, constantly and me falling for every time, was John pointing to a “stain” on my shirt, me looking down, and then he’d quickly ‘boop’ me on the nose. Over the years, you’d think I’d learn. You’re right, I did, but John got smarter and he’d find an opportune moment when I’d least expect it before striking. John was never afraid of doing something goofy or saying a silly joke. He was our goofball uncle. He’ll always be apart of us and he’ll always be our John Boy.

We’ll miss your craziness John Boy. Until we meet again.

Love, Dana, Denise, Chip, and Dawson
