Mr. Johnnie Harrison O’Connor was born on May 10, 1953, in San Antonio to William T. O’Connor and Lena Ardell Harrison. Johnnie was the youngest of three siblings to his older sister, (Gussie) Irene, and brother, William (Bubba), born and raised on the East side of San Antonio, TX. Johnnie O’Connor was a wonderful man. He was real and most of all loyal. Johnnie was a family man, and was known for his unconditional love and compassion to his family. Johnnie will forever be loved and missed. His memorable advice, the willingness to always lend an ear and listen anytime, and his hilarious humor are just a few of the many amazing qualities he will always be remembered for. Johnnie had jokes, stories and life lesson one liners that will never be forgotten. Johnnie was a real OG cut from a different cloth; the man was special. Johnnie had a natural act for touching people and making lasting impressions just by being himself – the one and only Johnnie O!
With heavy hearts, Johnnie leaves behind two sons – Donnie Lamar O’Connor and John White, daughter in laws – Angela O’Connor and Tandra White, five grandchildren – Jasmine, Johnshenique, Jordan, Anjolie, John White Jr., and four great grandchildren – Xaviyer, Adrianne, Ja’Kaelyn and Ava. Johnnie also leaves behind his beloved brother William, many loved nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and many more family and friends. We will always love and miss you, Johnnie. Your legacy will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
