San Antonio, Texas
Resided in:
San Antonio, Texas
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on March 25, 2022 at the young age of 54. She was born to parents: Johnny Jarmon and Elizabeth Williams on November 25, 1967.
She spent much of her life working as the secretary for True Vision Baptist Church, and was one of the first employees that started with the organization.
Joni had a servant’s heart and loved her family, grandchildren, and close friends dearly. She would always welcome anyone with open arms. On any given day, you could find her helping someone in need or supporting her children and grandchildren with their involvement of activities.
Her calling to help others was extended into the kitchen where she prepared the best dishes and baked the best cakes; with wedding cakes as her specialty.
Joni will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father: Johnny Jarmon, and her sisters: Sherbie Pearson and Yolanda Pearson, her two dogs: Cookie and Shadow.
Joni is survived by her loving mother: Elizabeth Jarmon, her beloved husband of 31 years, Alfred M. Linton, her children: Johnny Hardaway (Kristina), Sade Hardaway, Xavier Hardaway (Kandice), Jhymyron Linton, Dashawnte Linton, and Myranesha Linton, 6 grandchildren who affectionately called her “Suga,”: Angelina Ocanes, Alyssa Ocanes, Phoenix Hardaway, Ksaavri Hardaway, Avery Hardaway, and Zailey Hardaway; her brothers: Ricky and Peter, sisters: Rhonda Mondy, and Debbie, her dogs: Duchess and Carmela, and many close family and friends.
