  6. My sincerest condolences to Joe’s family and friends. I just heard today about his passing. I didn’t know joe that long and a mutual friend introduced us and needed a place to stay so I took him in. He helped me thru a tough time in my life and I was grateful to know him. I don’t know the details of his passing but I know he loves his kids very much. God Bless to everyone.

  7. Sincere condolences on the loss of Joe. Joe was a great guy and unbelievable athlete. I remember many times watching him win the shot and discus, then go out and put up a sub 50 400m. Not many shot/discus athletes in this world that can do that. So many fond memories of times with him in Warrensburg back in the day. He was all heart. RIP Joe. Look forward to catching up again one day on the other side my friend.
