Joseph Armstrong, Jr., a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on May 29, 1962 to Joseph Armstrong, Sr. and Georgetta Armstrong, Joseph lived a life rooted in love, laughter, hard work, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.
A father of seven children, proud grandfather of sixteen, and great-grandfather of one, Joseph was the heart of his family. He was also a beloved brother to two sisters and two brothers, and a loyal friend to many.
Joseph spent his life working outdoors as a talented landscaper, turning nature into art with his hands and vision. His love for the outdoors didn’t stop there—he found great joy in fishing, boating, and simply being near the water. Whether casting a line at sunrise or cruising on the lake, those moments brought him peace.
Music was another one of Joseph’s passions. He loved to sing, strum his guitar, and fill the air with his voice and spirit. He was often found at the grill, too, sharing his famous BBQ with family and friends during backyard get-togethers filled with food, fun, and music.
An avid sports fan, Joseph rarely missed a game of his beloved San Antonio Spurs or Dallas Cowboys. Whether they won or lost, he cheered them on with passion and pride.
Joseph will be remembered for his warm heart, his easy smile, his songs, and the way he made everyone feel welcome and loved. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
