Joshua Arvid Sager July 5, 1977-January 18, 2014
Joshua Sager was called home to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the everlasting life; to walk eternally amid the peace and grace of God's brilliant love. Joshua's motto in life was LOVE. And he did just that. Fiercely. Whole-heartedly. Charismatically. A simple man, he treasured his roles as patriarch, husband and father, and hard-working family man. Joshua sang his way through life, a master of granite, the muscles, a music man, a skater, a teacher, and now leaves us with the song that was his life.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Tabatha Sager; 6 children, Christopher, 14, Christian, 12, Nicholas, 10, Garrett, 10, Abygail, 8, and Gabriela, 7; great-grandmother, Mary Royer; grandfather, Morris Shenk; grandmother, Maria Morris; mother, Kim Lawton; father, John Sager, and his wife, Jo-Ann; step-father, Craig Morris; sister, Jessica; sister, Prudence, and her husband, Christopher; brothers, Michael, Scott, and Allen; a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces; and a plethora of other family and friends. Joshua is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Irma Sager, Betty Shenk, Donald Royer, and Carl Morris and step-father, Fred Lawton.
What a long, strange trip it's been, Bubba. We'll be missing you.
Services will be held at Trinity Baptist Chapel, 319 E. Mulberry, on Wednesday, January 22. Viewing: 1-3 p.m. Memorial service: 3-4 p.m. Reception follows at the Ruble Center, 419 E. Magnolia.
"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15

You were a good guy, may you rest in peace. The Love Family
Joshua was such a wonderful man and he will be missed by
many. Tabatha, the children and the rest of his family are in my thoughts and
prayers.
My condolences to Tabatha and family. Joshua’s happy face will always be remembered. We will miss him here at Shell.
My condolences to Tabatha and your family. He will be missed and always remembered
To the kid that taught me how to cuss and spit when I was a young girl…you tried to teach me how to skate, but I was better as a poser than I was on a Santa Cruz. I do remember, though, that you inspired me to wear skater pants every day of my 6 grade year. That seems like an eternity away from now. I am elated that you grew into a man that eventually realized what a beautiful and worthy women Tabatha is! I’m so glad you married her. I’m sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye, but your memory is in my heart. <3 Mandy Lynn Stewart
