Juanita P. Ruiz

Juanita Perez Ruiz went to be with our Lord Friday May 15, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Juanita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed raising her children and her grandchildren. She and her beloved husband, Roman Ruiz loved dancing and spending time with the family. She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church Guadalupanas for many years. Juanita was strong willed thru out her life and in her younger years she was a professional wrestler. She was trained by La Moolah in her wrestling years which she became known as “La Indita”. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Roman Ruiz; parents, Guadalupe and Ramon Perez; siblings and grandchildren. Juanita is survived by her children, Norma Ruiz Flores, Irene Ruiz Mermea and George Ruiz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Esparanza Arrendondo, Salome Black, Sally Pruneda, Rose Villareal, Guadalupe Perez and Julia Nix; brothers, Pete Perez and Robert Perez.
