Juanita V. Enriquez, 74, passed away in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born August 24, 1948 in Mercedes, Texas to Francisco and Merced Vargas. Juanita was a fun, energetic person who always spoke her mind. She was a God-fearing woman and enjoyed going to church until her health declined. Her favorite thing to do, however, was spending time with her family. Juanita is preceded in death by her brother, Lupe Vargas; mother, Merced Vargas; sister, Sofia Bazaldua; Pedro Resendez, Francisco Vargas, Justo Vargas, Januario Enriquez, Robert Vargas and Chico Vargas. She will be dearly missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Estella (Fred) Gonzalez, Diana (Roy) Munoz, Terry Resendez and Anita (Tony) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Joshua Garcia, JoAnthony Garcia, David Gonzalez and Mark Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Joel Garcia, Everly Garcia, Luka Garcia, Ella Garcia, Evan Gonzalez, Maya Gonzalez and Eric Gonzalez; siblings, Ramiro Vargas, Lucy Bazaldua, Mary Vargas and Christina Vargas; extended family and friends.
