Julian Garcia Hernandez Jr. was born in San Antonio, Texas December 28, 1955, to loving parents Julian Hernandez Sr. and Inez Garcia Hernandez. He passed away to be with the lord the afternoon of April 9, 2024, at the age of sixty-eight.
Julian Hernandez, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend, passed away leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and kindness. Julian lived a life filled with passion and adventure, finding joy in the simple pleasures of hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a fierce competitor on the pool table, and a dedicated member of the softball community, known for his spirited play with the East Side Devils.
Above all, Julian’s heart belonged to his beloved wife, the love of his life, whom he adored deeply, cherishing every moment and memories they created together. His pride in his daughters knew no bounds, as he celebrated their accomplishments with unwavering support and love. They were always known as Julian’s daughters, his pride and joy. Julian’s grandchildren were his greatest treasure, bringing him immeasurable joy and fulfillment with their laughter and presence. As a grandfather, he took pleasure in sharing his wisdom and warmth with them, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family.
Julian’s infectious laughter and genuine friendship touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A true jack of all trades, he approached every task with determination and skill, leaving behind a lasting impact on those around him.
Julian is preceded in death by both parents, as well as his brother Henry Hernandez. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of over forty years Eloisa Hernandez, daughter’s Pita Ramirez (Antonio), Rachel Hernandez (Jessica), Julianne Hernandez (Jesse), siblings David Hernandez, Rosemary Garcia (Albert), Paul Hernandez (Raquel), as well as grandchildren, Christopher Garza, Catelyn Garza, and Evan Perez. He also had a pivotal role as a pseudo grandpa to Maddy and Nico Hernandez. He also leaves behind his beloved fur baby Rusty.
Though Julian may have left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will be a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkness, and reminding us to embrace life with passion and love.
