Kathryn Elizabeth Myerson, born August 24, 1910 in Oakland, CA. passed away December 30, 2005 in San Antonio. Preceded in death by her parents John Joseph Quinn and Anna Maria (Schmitt) Quinn, her beloved husband Martin Arthur, her beloved daughter Natalie Anne Beckert in May 2005, 2 brothers Joseph Quinn and Reverend William Quinn. She attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York in the early 1930’s. She was an accomplished artist in pen and ink but preferred and mastered watercolor, oils and acrylic painting. She continued painting avidly into her early 90’s. When Kay was not painting she enjoyed playing poker with her dear friends. She is survived by her two daughters Ms. Linda J. White and Ms. Mary Lee Pert of San Antonio, 10 grandchildren; Mrs Suzanne Guerin, Mr Jason Beckert, Mr Joseph Beckert, Mrs Julianne Femenella all of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Andrew J. White of St. Louis, MO, Dr. John H. White of Victoria, TX, Dr. Carolyn Crowley of Charlotte, NC, Mr Justin C. Pert of Allen, TX, Mr Gregory M. Pert of Topeka, KS and Miss Alexandria Pert of San Antonio, TX. Great-grandchildren; Hunter & Haley Hindes, Hannah, Jackson & Carter White, Kathryn & Sam Crowley, Andrew, David & Sarah Beckert, Christina Beckert, Hanna, Quinn & Carley Pert, Baby Natalie Femenella and John Henry White, III “Trip”. Holy Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 20523 Huebner Rd. Burial to be held at a later date in Queens, New York.
