Keith Alan Thompson, 63, passed away June 30, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born May 21, 1960 in Japan to Stanley Milton Thompson and Marie Purfoy. Keith was a graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin Township, NJ. After his graduation, Keith decided to serve our country and joined the United States Army. While in the service he became an infantry specialist. Keith was honorably discharged as a E-5 Sergeant. Throughout his career, Keith had the opportunity to travel around the world. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Marie Thompson, his wife, Mary Ann Thompson, and his niece, Kendra.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, LeKeisha (Erik) Johnson, Tonya Thompson from Universal City, Texas, Dominique Plaznoski in Germany and Kesha McKinney from Texas; son, Jerome Thompson from Louisiana; grandchildren, Malachi Johnson, Maryanna Johnson, Erik Isacc Jeffrey Johnson Jr., Kierra McKinney from Alexandria, Louisiana, Kennaishya Boyd and De’Carey Washington; great-grandchildren, Kambree and Kazley McKinney and Keimare Boyd; siblings, Gary Milton Thompson from Keyport, NJ, Deborah Ann Robinson from Springdale, MD, Arlene Marie Thompson from Somerset, NJ; 7 Nieces and Nephews: James, Tamara, Bryan, Kailene, Justin, Sabrina and Khadedra; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
