I am sorry that I did not meet you. I visited your father’s grave in June who was a brother to my father. We were cousins who had never met. We both served our country as our fathers before us. Rest in peace cousin.

Dr. Kenneth C. Stuart, a loving son, brother, uncle, and cherished member of his family, passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on July 11, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born in Liverpool, England, on December 1, 1949, to Kenneth B. Stuart and Irene Stuart.
Kenneth was a remarkably intelligent and inquisitive man who possessed a genuine thirst for knowledge. He had a deep love of reading and enjoyed hiking, collecting fossils, hunting, gunsmithing, and of course Physics.
Kenneth graduated from St. Mary’s University in 1973 with a B.S. in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. He then went on to earn his Doctoral Degree from Texas A&M in 1983. Kenneth was a Weapons Physicist for the Civil Service for 32 years and made lifelong friendships. Kenneth also found time to teach Advanced Physics at Trinity University, Incarnate Word College and San Antonio College.
Those who knew Kenneth will remember him for his kind and honest nature. He had a big heart and was a dependable and hardworking man who could always be counted on by those he loved and his friends/coworkers. His quiet strength, intelligence, and genuine character left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth B. Stuart and Irene Stuart; and his brothers, Karl and Glenn Stuart.
He leaves behind his beloved sister, Wendy Banis and her husband, Gary; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kenneth’s memory to the San Antonio Food Bank, an organization whose mission of helping those in need reflects the kindness and generosity that Kenneth carried throughout his life.
