Born in:
San Antonio, Texas
Resided in:
San Antonio, Texas
Leonor F. Tirado, 72, gained her wings May 27, 2023. She was born March 28, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Silviano and Juanita Fabela. Leonor was fun, loving and enjoyed having a good time. Every so often, she and her husband would take trips to Eagle Pass and go to the casinos. She also enjoyed playing loteria. She loved having her family over every chance they got. Leonor even had a DJ Booth built at her home to make sure music was playing at every family function. She loved to dance, sing and above all, to be surrounded with the people she loved the most. Everyone, even if not related, would call her “mom” because she always made sure everyone was taken care of. She was giving and selfless and would spend her last dollar on her family. Like a “mom”, her door was always open for anyone that needed help or to get advice. She has left an immeasurable loss in our hearts and will be forever loved and missed.
Leonor is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Candelaria Trevino and Frank Fabela.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mario Tirado; children, Patricia (Felipe) Chapa, Cynthia Martinez, Leonor (Alex) Borjon, Mariana (George Angulo) Tirado, Mario Tirado Jr., Panfilo Martinez and Salvador (Jessica) Martinez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Raul Jr., Esmeralda, Giovanni, Leonor, Jaizen, Nelly, Penelope, Luigi, Calliope, Martini, Addilyn, Panfilo Jr., Aileen, Justin, Salvador Jr. and Ricky; siblings, Juanita Pena, Delfina Martinez, Yolanda Pena and Velia Mesa; great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

My good friend whom I will never forget. Love you comadre. 🙏🏻❤️
Mary Jane Baylor-Palacios
My condolences to you all. She was a loveable, genuine, caring woman. She treated me like family. I will cherish her memories forever in my heart. May god give you all comfort and peace during this difficult time.
To my mother in law,
Thank you for all the wonderful memories I am so grateful and honored to have you as my mother in law. From your delicious cooking, to the amazing fun parties we had over the holidays to texting each other talking about how much we hated cowboys and how great the eagles and packers played. I appreciate everything you and my father in law did for me when times were tough.
I will never forget the one night when you, Mario sr, Nena and Cindy visited me at my parents house during the tough time I was going through due to my loss of job and you had told me you all came by because you wanted to test drive my car. You had me puzzled and confused but without hesitation I handed over the keys. when you, nena and cindy had returned you had surprised me with a full tank of gas.
I will miss your laughter, your smile and your loving care.
“ A mother is a gift that God gave who deserves to be loved, admired and most of all respected. She is a wonderful human being with a big heart.”
God bless you! I love you!
Thank you for the countless memories and blessings you gave my children. You will forever be missed but not forgotten. Until we meet again.
Love,
Your Wero

I love you so much, Mom. You are the best mom and best friend I could ever ask for. I thank God every day for making you my mother. I miss hearing your voice, your laughter every day, and our big hugs every time I saw you! I would tell you, “Nope, I want a big hug, give me a BIG Hug!” I miss you SO much, it hurts my heart. My babies miss their Gamma so much. I tell them we can always talk to you in our hearts and prayers and to remember that you are always with us, watching over us. You left us with beautiful memories to hold on to because you had such a beautiful heart. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done. I hope I grow to be a great mother just like you. I love you and miss you so very much! I Love You. I Love You. I Love You.
I Love you ALWAYS and FOREVER!
