Lillie Mae Lane

Life Reflections Ms. Lillie Mae Jones Lane left us to join the Lord on Thursday January 4, 2008 at the age of 71. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 7th, 1936 to Willie Jones (deceased) and Janie Starks (deceased). She graduated from Carver High School in 1951 and soon after married Airman First Class William Lane of United States Air Force. She was a stay home mom caring for her four children while also traveling the U.S. from base to base. She was a school crossing-guard for a number of years in Montgomery, AL. She was a member of the Delta Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Lillie was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and daughter willing to give anyone her last and helped when she could. Those Who Remain She is survived by three brothers Thomas, Henry and James Jones; preceding her in death, one sister, Ruth Jones. Her children; William Lane Jr. (Lita) of San Diego, CA, Kenneth Lane of San Antonio, TX, Jacqueline Gregory (Sonnie) of San Antonio, TX and Anthony Lane (Sarah) of Norfolk, VA; grand children; Sparkle (Shawn) McCracken and Simone Lane; Cherissa and Anthony Lane; and great-grand children; Spencenique and Spencer Demps Jr. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
