Canal Zone, Panama
A dear and loving mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023, leaving daughters Vanessa (husband Shawn) and Jessica (husband Oliver), grandchildren Preslie, Caeden and Ashton, brother Mark (wife Cynthia), sister Pamela (husband Charlie), and many friends and loved ones.
Linda was an artistic and spiritual soul, who loved nature and had an encyclopedic knowledge of flower species. A trained massage therapist in her earlier life, Linda loved to care for others and enjoyed helping people feel their best. While she did not get to continue her career due to mental illness, she continued to be a loving mother and a devout Christian until her final days. A special thank you to the countless caregivers who took special care of Linda throughout the years, and to the religious guides who gave Linda hope and made her feel seen and loved. We will forever be grateful for all you did to make our mother’s last years the best they could be. While Linda’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit. A private family ceremony will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). https://www.nami.org/home?gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw0ZiiBhBKEiwA4PT9z6zInlQDXk56qIsDOLAsfWcsrJWvtZZnf8pzJJonwHPrF7yA_VMqUxoCeD0QAvD_BwE
Rest in Peace among a garden of beautiful flowers
