  3. CandleImageDear Lucy and Skloss family,
I’m not able to attend the services but I wanted to express my condolences and special thoughts of Louis.
I was very fond of my great uncle Louis. He was a very gentle and kind man. I was very fortunate to have won one of his prize wooden bowls that I’ve had displayed on my kitchen counter for several years now.
My mother and father, Jo Ann and Samuel Rocco, were also very fond of him. Our family, (from when I was a young child with my brother Mark) shared many special memories from all the many years of family reunions together, along with my grandmother, (his sister), Teresa Kowalik, and my uncles Randy and Phil.
My current immediate family, the Faria’s, Eric, Michael and Erika, also partook in many years of the Skloss family reunions, got to know my polish ancestors, visit the farm and tour the old house where Louis and Teresa and all the siblings grew up. I am very grateful we had those opportunities to be a part of that history.
I’m also very thankful and blessed that I was able to attend the last family reunion in 2018. I had a very special conversation with Louis that day talking about old times like never before. Little did I know then how special, as that was the last time I would have that opportunity.
God bless you, Louis, you will be missed dearly. Lucy, I’m very sorry for your loss, and may God grant you peace and strength.
Love, your great niece, Sabrina Faria
