Luster Elisha Childress III, born January 29, 1979, was called home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 28, 2017 at Mission Trails Baptist Hospital. He was born to Luster Childress, Jr. and Germaine Clay. Luster attended Judson High School where he graduated. He also attended Every Moment Matters where he learned his skills and training for the outside world. He loved his music and enjoyed to be around his friends and family. Luster is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Connie Gibbons, and Henry and Lola Moore. He is survived by his parents, Luster Childress, Jr., and Germaine Clay; brother, Derrick Childress; uncles, Charles Arch, Clifford Moore, and Jeron Clay. Luster will be greatly missed. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Visitation will be held for Lester 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, with services to be held at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
