Mahalah and I share decades of friendship which began at glass workshops in San Francisco in the 70’s. We traveled to Japan together and I visited her in San Antonio. Only this year in September she came to Salt Lake City and we crammed in visits to Antelope Island, Red Butte Garden, and Tracy Aviary. Rest in peace, Mahalah, with your beloved Richard. I would love to hear from your family.
Wow – I just learned of Mahalah’s passing. She and I worked together at a stained glass studio in San Antonio in the early 80’s. I just today happened to be in the neighborhood where Prince of Peace Catholic Church is located. Mahalah and I worked together on a rose window for that church almost 40 years ago (photo attached). I was surprised to see a big crucifix placed right in front of it, making what is a beautiful window simply a backdrop. I was tempted to move it out of the way. Rest in peace Mahalah!
