Mamie Alice Thompson

Mamie Alice Thompson, a resident of Kenedy, Texas passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Cuero Community Hospital in Cuero, Texas at the age of 65. Mamie was born on January 29, 1941 in Printess, Mississippi to Donald Chapman and Marie Chatman. During Mamie's professional career, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is survived by her husband, George Thompson; mother, Marie Chatman; sister, Anna Chestnut; children, Charles Solomon, William Hayes, Roderick Thompson, Donald Thompson, Hemion Thompson, only daughter, Verina Thompson; close friend, Freddie Williams, and long-time companion, Alvin Evans; grandchildren, Kristene Thompson, Donald Thompson, Jr., Charles Solomon, Jr., Sema’J Hayes, Reggie Dunn, Sarah Thompson, K.C. Britton, Taylor Britton, Milton James, III, Eryca James, Mamie James; great-grandchildren, Charles Solomon, III and Tre’Sheianna James and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. ---------------------------------- Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
