Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Manuel S. Garcia II, entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2021 at the young age of 64. He was born on August 9, 1956 to parents: Manuel and Mary Garcia in Harlingen, Texas. Manuel’s life employments included working in the health industry as a supply chain technician for 10 years. To his first union, he shared 25 years of marriage with Jeri Lynn Duncan and then came: Manuel Garcia III, Daniel A. Garcia, Linda R. Garcia, and Misty M. Garcia. They raised their four children together. Manuel was a hard worker who lived a great life, and was a positive role model and father-figure to his children, especially his sons teaching them everything leading up to manhood. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Grandpa.” Manuel will be deeply missed by all whom loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving children, Manuel S. Garcia III Roxann), Daniel A. Garcia (Amy), Misty M. Garcia (Adam), and Linda R. Garcia (Pablo),16 grandchildren; and a host of close relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will begin on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10:00AM at MeadowLawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston Street. Interment will be in MeadowLawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

  3. If you think about the last time you saw Manuel then you noticed he was smiling & was very calm. That is the memory I will carry with me always. My heart aches for the loss of my brother. He battled cancer bravely & didn’t complain about the obvious pain. I smile now at the thought that he is no longer in pain. I smile now that he’s keeping our parents company.
