Maria G. Alvarado, a native of Laredo, TX. She was born on March 20, 1947 to Mr. Rosalio Vargas and Ms. Carlota Contreras. She is the oldest sibling to six children - Concepcion (deceased), Juan (deceased), Pascual (Nena), Manuela, Salvador and Raymond. She attended Fox Tech High School, in San Antonio, TX. and was a part of the graduating class of 1966. Maria met and married Mr. Martin Alvarado (preceded in death). To this union, five children were born: Veronica, Monica, Job (deceased), Martin Jr. (Diana) and Phoebe (Joel). Maria was a committed CNA and happily retired in this profession. After retirement, she continued this profession to be her father's caretaker and full-time grandmother. She enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maria was a generous person and was always there to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was always ready to lend a listening ear. Maria was patient, compassionate, and always present in the lives of those who knew her. Maria was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all those that loved and knew her. Maria will be missed by a large and loving family. She is Survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, family and friends.

I remenber lmy Mom’s best friend maria .we got along and have fun together with her daughters and sons I remember the time that you did live at some apartments and we would sneak out the window and Ronnie and I just to go play in the swing and we would go down street to store…I love and Miss you always..From the SALAS FAMILY… HEAVLY FATHER TODAY YOU HAVE TAKING YOUR CHILD..AMEN

I’m truly sorry for your loss. 1Corinthians 15:26 says “and the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”
I extend my condolences to the family . May the warm memories help heal your pain. Also, please be assured that comfort can be found in God’s word in Revelation 21 : 3-4 where he promises to do away with sickness and death.
