Marilynn Wilkins

Marilynn Marie Scoggins Wilkins, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026 in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 85. Born in Abilene, TX, on August 14, 1940, Marilynn devoted her life to her family and friends, creating a legacy of kindness, strength, and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Scoggins, as well as her siblings Bill Scoggins, Georgelyn “Bunny” Harper, and Kim “Buzzy” Scoggins. Her memory lives on through her loving children: Tonia and husband Bert Mazac of San Antonio, TX, Ricky and wife Reesa Wilkins of Highland Village, TX, and Doug Wilkins of Pontiac, IL. She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren.

Marilynn’s unwavering love and gentle spirit touched the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she influenced, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
