Martin F. Govan passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Downtown Baptist Hospital at the age of 74. Mr. Govan was born on August 9, 1932 in San Antonio to Milton B. Govan and Carol Jones Govan. Mr. Govan worked as a truck driver. He is survived by his sister, Susie Govan, brother, Carl Govan and Clyde Govan, sisters, Mildred West and Vivian Watson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
