Mary V. Henderson

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend, Mary V. Henderson, entered eternal rest on September 22, 2024 at the age of 65. She was born on November 25, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to the late parents: Gerald William Morgan and Eloise Hale.

Mary was a loving woman who exemplified the epitome of a true mother. Family was very important to her. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling, as cruises were her favorite.

Mary was also a hard worker. She spent many years working in the janitorial industry as a housekeeper until she retired. She will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

When she entered heaven, she was reunited with her parents, and her beloved husband, her brothers: Jerry Vanblaricum, Roger Morgan, and Willie Cook; and her sister: Gwendolyn Cook.

Her memories will be cherished and kept alive by her children: Lisa Gates, and Charles Gates (Teresa), five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; her sisters: Brenda Peoples, and Eloise Cook, and numerous other close relatives and friends.
