Masako Williams age 88, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024. She was born on March 8, 1936 in Okinawa, Japan to the late Deyoshin Oshiro (father) and Kamiju Sukiyama (mother). Growing up on the Island she enjoyed the beach, fishing, and catching crabs. In 1958, she met Elroy Williams Sr. while he was serving in the United States Army in Japan. They later married and were married for almost thirty years. She was very prayerful, gentle, loving, kind and giving to all who knew her. Her strong faith as a believer always kept her positive and blessed. Masako enjoyed spending time with each and every one of her family members from her children to her great grandchildren and everyone else. She was a great cook who made the BEST fried rice and taught her family members how to cook her native dishes. She enjoyed taking family vacations, especially ones to the beach, Coushatta Casino in Louisiana, and liked to play BINGO. She loved to watch Walker Texas Ranger and old western movies starring John Wayne.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Oshiro; her husband Elroy Williams, Sr., son Jeremiah Matthew, grandson Jermaine, and great-granddaughter Chloe Grace.
