Maureen Elizabeth McVea was born February 5, 1950 to Maurice P. Dailey and Elizabeth Peddersen Daily in Akron, Ohio.
She attended many different schools being a military child and graduated with the class of 1968 from Ramey High School in Puerto Rico where she had many friends. Maureen went on to pursue other adventures and career choices. Later, she married James “Jimmy” P. McVea and together they brought home a baby girl, Heather Lenore McVea to complete their family. Maureen worked as an Executive Secretary for HEB for twenty five years. Following retirement she moved to LaVernia, Texas to be near her family.
Maureen lived an impressive life, caring for and doing for others, always trying to make sure her family was taken care of. She leaves to share her memory a daughter, Heather McVea and wife, Jennifer King McVea; siblings, Kathy Craig and Tim Dailey.

Heather I’m so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of you and your mom in LaVernia. I have often thought of her over the years and wished I had known how to contact her. I will always remember her, our friendship and the fun we had. Our loving thoughts are with you.
