Melva H. Reyes passed away peacefully Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 64. She was born in San Antonio, Texas September 30, 1958 to the late Manuel Hernandez and Janie Vela. Melva was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She and her late husband, Victor G. Reyes Jr. enjoyed spending time outside their home on the porch listening to oldies, norteñas, and corridos. She cooked the best tortillas and conchitas for her family and loved taking her children and grandchildren to the park.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor G. Reyes, Jr. Melva will be dearly missed by her children, Denise Badillo (Ronny), Victor Reyes, Evette Reyes, Kimberly Escobar (Juan) and Melanie Reyes; grandchildren, Dominic Badillo, Rene Badillo, Issac Badillo, Joshua Castillo, Erika Escobar, Brianna Castillo, Julissa Gutierrez, Lorenzo Escobar, Dylan Suarez, Maelyn Suarez, Maricella Reyes Eliana Suarez, and  Adalyn Suarez; great-granddaughter, Maliyah Badillo; mother, Janie Vela and numerous other relatives.
