Michael David Billings graduated from this life on March 27, 2007. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife M.T. Peggy Billings her parents Henry and Patricia Massey, a brother Bruce E. Thurmann (Tina), four sister in laws, Mary Parker, (William) Barbara Williams, (Richard) and Carol Hatt of Kentucky, and Patricia Massey (Charles Williams) of San Antonio, Texas, three brother in laws, David Massey (Della) of Indiana, Michael Massey (Joy) and Robert Massey (Sabina) both from Kentucky, a special niece, Lauren Michelle Fortner, and 18 other devoted nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and myriad friends, including Mary Burt, and Patty and Jerry Krueger, and Shane Fritts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brucene Earlene (Trammel) Billings and his father Fred Billings.
Michael loved well and was well loved. A doting husband, a steadfast friend and a loving soul, his sardonic wit, rich laugh and low key sense of humor brought smiles and gladness to all who were privileged to know him. Michael was a bike enthusiast, a motorhead and a Tech 3 cable technician for Time Warner Inc. Unstintingly generous by nature and ever reliable when family friends or neighbors were in need, his presence will be deeply missed by many but his spirit will ever sustain us all through his unforeseen loss.

My most heartfelt condolences for your loss. Even though I didn’t personally know Mike, I know his wife Peggy (a fellow MS patient) and from the stories she always told me about him he must have been a very funny and great guy.
Peg o’ my heart, You are so dear to me. I am with you in thought and prayer as you go through this week and all of the weeks and months to follow. Your strength is a wonder to all who know and love you. Your love for Mike can never be deminished through past trials or future tribulations. No one knows God’s wisdom, we can only seek resolve to live that which comes to us. We mortals need angels to strengthen our resolve and help guide us. I am ever mindful of those beautiful angels. To My Dearset Aunt Peggy, You and Uncle Mike were there for me in my darkest hours, and I am so greatful of that. I hope that I can be there for you in yours. My Dearest Peggy, How can we understand your loss of Mike this past year-his enduring love for you and yours for him. Your years together have been a joyful song to the Lord all about felt the beauty of it and exulted in it. We saw examples of your love daily and thanked God to be a small part of it. Sis, This past year has been spent celebrating Mike, his life here on earth, and his journey through to the next. This next year we should all spend celebrating you. Everything the Universe has thrown your way you have shown it you are stronger than. Dear Aunt Peg, You and Mike have meant the world to me even though we have been spareated by distance. When I needed someone to help care for my little son, Hunter, you and Mike were right there for me helping me take care of my family and you continue to do so for my Grandpa and Grandma. All the times I could not be there to care for my grandparents Mike was there. Through the years he was supportive and nuturing to my sister as well. He will always be a special part of me of all he did for me and for my family. I will keep him in my prayers until we are all together again. I love you Aunt Peg more than you could possibly know.
