Muriel T. Wilkinson

muriel wilkinson
Muriel Thomsen Wilkinson, beloved mother and grandmother, died at home in the presence of her family on March 4, 2006. Born September 30, 1915 in Albany NY, she was a NY State bookkeeper for 35 years, retiring in 1971. Predeceased by her husband of nearly 50 years, Alfred, and sister Irene Russell, she is survived by daughter and son in law, Janice Wilkinson and Charles Strasmer Keeler, two granddaughters, Aurora Irene and Amanda Wilkinson Keeler and her nephew and his wife, Robert and Cynthia Russell and their daughter, Danielle. Muriel was adored by all who met her and remained the vital core of her families’ lives. We are indebted to Timothy Hernandez, M.D. and his staff for her excellent health care as well as Hospice and her wonderful provider Grace Angel who allowed Muriel to remain at home the last months. There will be a dinner and celebration of Muriel’s life at the Keeler home, 217 Carolwood Dr. Thursday evening from 5:30-8:30 for all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Northside Education Foundation. To leave a note for the family go to meadowlawn.net and select obituaries.
