Earthly Beginning: Born July 20, 1953. Nueces County Parents: Beatrice Williams and Eddie Powers and stepmother, Mrs. Nell Powers Guardian: Loretta Mosley the eldest sister, known as (Big Sister Retta) became Myrtle's legal guardian after the death of her parents. Education: Nueces County Independent School District. Myrtle was a graduate of West Oso Senior High in 1972. She attended several technical Schools in San Antonio, Texas, underwent several courses in local community college, multi continuing education training courses in food service/dietary. Cashier training for HEB Stores; Home Health Care Specialty Training Profession: Demanding positions within the Healthcare Delivery System; (Home Health Care Inc.) Religion: Church of Christ - Myrtle accepted Christ at an early age. She was a lifetime member of Church of Christ, she lived an active life in the church. She loved good preaching and good teaching of the Bible; She was a Prayer Intercessor and had a heart after God's heart which reflected in her character. She was filled with God's Grace and Love. Myrtle had the beautiful art of carrying a big smile making others around her smile. Marriage: Myrtle was joined in Holy Matrimony October 12, 2002 to Warren Williams of Emporia, Virginia Present Pastor:Brother Peter Martin Jr. To Cherish Her Memory Children: Her beloved son, Gerald L. Williams and her loving daughter-in-law, Nancy Mary of Schertz, Texas Grandchildren: The apple of her eye...Xavier and Benjamin Williams Sisters: Loretta Mosely, Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Davies, and Dian Jones of San Antonio, Texas. Judy Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas and Ethel Bowers of Dallas, Texas Brothers: Freddie Powers, Sr., Kingswood, Texas. Everett of Plano, Texas and Wesley Bowers of Dallas, Texas. Sisters-in-law: Elena Williams(husband, Eddie B. Williams), San Antonio, Texas. Myrtle's personality and outgoing demeanor brought a ray of sunshine to us all. Preceded Her to Glory: Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Williams and Eddie Powers: grandparents, Big Mama Myrtle and Papa Ned; Brother, Eddie B.; Aunt, Cleo Spencer; Stepmother, Nell Powers; sister, Velma Powers and her brother, Leo Powers.
