Nancy Doolittle was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 29, 2016. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas to Nathalie Bode Herry and Alfred Herry. She attended Seguin High School and graduated in 1953. While in high school she was member of the band and played clarinet. She loved to water ski and was part of the ski show at the Holiday Inn at Lake McQueeney. She represented the White House Drive-Inn in the Miss Seguin Beauty Pageant in 1953. Nancy married the late James "Buddy" Doolittle in 1955 and they were blessed with two children, Jimmy and Cheri. They were later divorced in 1965. She worked for the San Antonio Independent School District as a secretary and retired in 1991. After her retirement she cared for her mother until her mother's death in 1996. Nancy loved spending time with her family and all her grandchildren whom lovingly called her "Omie". She will be remembered for her love of the color purple, butterflies, her needlework and her dedication to the Spurs. She always made personalized gifts for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You could always count on getting a phone call from Nancy on every birthday, anniversary, and holiday of the year including the 4th of July which was followed by a long conversation. Nancy leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children, Jimmy and his wife Linda, Cheri and her husband Darrell Goodloe, Sr.; her grandchildren, Melissa (George), Stephanie (Curtis), Allie, Darrell (Tanya) and Robyn(Jermain); her great-grandchildren, Taylon, Tazarry, Trayzon, Javien, Jayla, Gianna, Alannah and Gulianna; her God sent grandchildren Terae and Terelle; her brother Aubrey J.
