Resided in: San Antonio , TX

Nicholas Zapata went to be with the Lord April 15, 2022. Born December 20, 1978 in San Antonio, Texas to Rosalinda Zapata. Nicholas was eldest of three boys. Growing up, they’ve had an unbreakable bond which carried on into adulthood. He attended and graduated from Sam Houston High School and decided to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps right after high school. Coming from a military family, he loved being a Marine and was proud of his service. Nicholas was very family oriented and loved spending quality time with his wife and three children. He also enjoyed attending BBQs, camping, family outings, church and his music, which he could listen to for hours whether to relax, chill, or get ready for fun with the family. And of course, he wouldn’t miss watching his San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys on game days. Nicks’ laughter was as contagious as his aura when he would enter a room. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was a great father, husband, brother, and played a significant role in the Zapata family. Nicholas is preceded in death by his Mother, Rosalinda Zapata Lopez; Grandparents, Domingo and Maria Zapata.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Ivone Angelica Zapata; children, Brandon Nicholas Zapata, Everett Nicholas Zapata and Rosalinda Rain Zapata; grandchildren, Maliyah Jane Zapata; siblings, Angel Zapata and Daniel Sandoval; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends.
