Ola B. Cunningham

Ola B. Cunningham, 91, passed away August 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. She was born March 13, 1932 in Floresville, Texas to Olen Matthews and Nareen Clay. Ola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She devoted her time to her family by being a stay-at-home mother and teacher to her husband and children. She was blessed with eight children in her union to her beloved husband, John Cunningham Sr. Ola enjoyed watching Family Feud and her Spurs. She also crocheted and sewed and loved to cook for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

Ola is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Cunningham Sr.; sons, John Cunningham Jr and Jimmy Lee Cunningham; son-in-law, Frank Jackson Jr. and her parents, Olen and Nareen Matthews.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Eva Joyce Jackson, Debra Perez, James (Angela) Cunningham, Richard Cunningham Sr., Donald Cunningham, George Cunningham and John James Schreiner; sister, Georgia Lee Jefferson; grandchildren, Alfred Cunningham, Rudy Cunningham, Lamont Cunningham, Shawana Cunningham, Pamela Cunningham, Kendra Cunningham, Rodrick Cunningham, James Cunningham Jr., Tiffany Cunningham, Richard Cunningham Jr., LaToya Cunningham and the Bejarrano family; great-grandchildren, Imuniquie Jackson, Kennedy Cunningham, Aiden Cunningham, Keandra Cunningham, Reyna Hernandez, Amanda Hernandez, Javier Hernandez, Julian Hernandez and Jayvien Davis; great-great grandchildren, Jazaire Mohane, David H. Major Hernandez, Emory Hernandez, Jayvion Thompson and Abcde Sutton; extended family and friends.
