Olivia D. Chaverria, age 70 went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born in San Antonio, Texas September 2, 1953 to the late Gloria Gallego Dominguez and Jose Dominguez. Olivia was a loving sister, mother and grandmother. She loved caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family.  She is a 1971 graduate of Fox Tech High School. Olivia retired from the San Antonio Express-News after many years of dedicated service. On her off time, she continued to practice her cosmetology, cutting and styling family members and friends hair. She enjoyed spending time at home watching her TV shows. Olivia was a lifelong member of Church of God 7th day.

Olivia is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Gloria Dominguez; her two brothers, Albert Dominguez and Geno Dominguez.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Gloria Hinojosa, her husband, Marcos Hinojosa and Erica Lopez and her husband, Edgar Lopez; grandchildren, Lauren, Adrian and Gabriel; siblings, Frank Dominguez his wife, Margaret, Elizabeth Garcia, Joe Dominguez his wife, Irma , Jesse Dominguez, George Dominguez his wife, Jackie and Brenda De Leon and her husband, Paul; also, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Church of God 7th day from  12:00pm-4:00pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm at Church of God  7th day Church 4131 Williard Dr. San Antonio, TX 78228.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to  Church of God 7th Day P.O. Box 380492 San Antonio, TX 78268-0492
