Ornett Hickman was born in Biloxi, MS on July 7, 1954. He passed on July 23, 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Jada Michelle; seven brothers: Dannie Hickman, Larry Hickman, Rickey Hickman, Kirby Hickman, Timothy Hickman, Kenneth Hickman and Kim Hickman; three sisters: Iris Hickman Hawkins, Tonda Hickman, Ghuette Hickman James, and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Mount Zion First Baptist Church, 333 Martin Luther King Drive, San Antonio, Texas. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Hello Hickman Family, Years have passed since we first met,but still you remain in our hearts and forever on our minds. We are deeply saddened by your loss, and want you to know you are in our prayers. Joy, Peace and Love. The High Family, Pamela, Karen, Fred Jr., Sherrene, Stephanie, and Edmond.
On behalf of my family, I (Jason’s fiance) would like to send our condolences to the entire Hickman Family. I never had the chance to meet Mr. Hickman, but I have the hope of seeing him that new system. My prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.
