Pamela Renee Veal

pamela veal
Pamela Renee Veal was born February 26, 1960 in Washington, D.C. to parents, James Fleming Veal and Deloris Marie Veal. Pam was proceeded in death by her father, James Fleming Veal. Pam, as she was affectionally called, was a graduate of Highlands High School, Class of 1978. In 2018, Pam enjoyed a 40-year class reunion where she loved seeing old classmates and spending time visiting friends. She also studied at St. Philips College where she pursued a culinary degree. At an early age, Pam received Jesus as her personal savior and as an adult, she was a member of Now Word Covenant Church in San Antonio, Texas. Pam faithfully attended church with her mother and family. Until her passing, Pam was an active Eastern Star Member of Christopher Delight Chapter No.1 (PHA). Through her membership, she provided community service and prepared food for her Chapter. Pam was an employee of J&J Worldwide Services for many years. A great passion of Pam’s was cooking. From seafood alfredo, to her famous mac-n-cheese, she loved preparing food for others to enjoy. Also known for her bar-b-que, Pam could have been considered a master chief. Her cooking will be missed, but often spoken of as we reflect on the memorable dishes she prepared. She always relished her time spent with Master Coby Devon Veal, her beloved dog. From their walks, to driving to his grooming sessions, their time together was always special. Pam is survived by mother Deloris Marie Veal, sister Cheryl Veal-Ladson (Abner “Lat” Ladson – both of Portland, OR), Goddaughters Tremaine Lashon Renee Gardner (Adelanto, CA), Chelsi Andrews, and Tamia “Mi-Mi” Reed (both of San Antonio), aunts Olivia Ladson, and Gwendolyn Campbell (both of San Antonio, TX), nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers a host of friends.
