Patricia Ann Dorn Lewis

Patricia was born on September 22, 1942 to George and Lorado Dorn. She was one of five children. She accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She faithfully attended church until her health failed. She attended the San Antonio Public schools and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School. Patricia attended St. Phillips Jr. College and was an honor student, which earned her the Miss St. Phillips award. She then attended Texas Southern University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science. After graduation she entered the work force where she met and married James Lewis. She continued her education, obtained her license as a Lab Technician and worked at the Medical Center Hospital in the Microbiology Department for over 30 years. She retired as head of the department. In her spare time she loved to spend time with her sisters; enjoyed reading and work on puzzles. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorado Dorn; sis, Bobbie Johnson, brothers-in-law, Donald Johnson and Claude Dominque and nephew, Lance Eason. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, sisters, Doris Mitchell, Lois Dominque and Thelma Ross; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
