Patricia Lucille Lowrance Brown, 94, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 13 in hospice care near her daughter Lisa’s home in San Antonio, TX. A long-time Upper Arlington and Dublin resident, Pat began her Ohio career as the secretary at Overbrook Presbyterian Church and later became an active and vital member where she interviewed and wrote about members of the church for the newsletter. She also was a Stephen Minister, listening and tending to those experiencing some type of hurt. She retired from many dedicated and successful years at Nationwide.

Pat loved entertaining and created a warm and beautiful home. Her family loved her home -cooked meals, always served with a side of humorous family stories. She threw the best birthday parties for her family. She had a passion for reading, writing, and story-telling.

Born August 20, 1929 in East St. Louis, Illinois to James Oliver Lowrance and Sibyl Lucille Gordon Lowrance, she was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Kelly Brown and her beloved beagle, Charlie Brown.

After the birth of her first grandchild, Pat became Grammy to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her children, Diane Craig (Ira Luntz), Lisa Craig, J. Scott Craig (Nannette Parcher), and, grandchildren Joseph Craig (Bethany Liefer), Lucia Craig, Patrick Regan (Erin Roberson), and James Regan (Carina Hiscock).

A memorial service will be held at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at http://overbrookchurch.org/give/memorial-giving/
