Paul Edward Gonzales

paul gonzales
Paul Gonzales, you were born on a cold winter’s day on 23 November 1967, on Thanksgiving Day when we lived in Upper Heyford Air Base in England. You were such a tiny baby, that we dressed you in baby doll clothes. As a child, you loved to play with your toy fire engines and ambulances and we should have known that you would grow up to be a paramedic. A job that you loved for many years. You were a kind man, a clown, a cat lover, someone who loved the Lord, your wife Michelle and your children Alyssa and Christopher, your grand baby, your family and friends. You traveled all over the world from England, Colorado, Texas, China, Israel and many places in between. You loved music from Stryper, Petra, Sweet Comfort Band, 80’s pop. You loved to sing and dance. I will never forget you singing worship music at the Western Wall, sounding like a Jewish Cantor with your beautiful voice! People who know you would say, your taste in clothing was outrageous and flashy. Those Red, white and blue spandex pants and your American flag shirt was the talk of town. Your 2016 “Donald Trump Inauguration” t-shirt was such a sensation in Israel, people stopped us in the streets to take pictures with you! You loved the following: Donald Trump, Conspiracy theories, Vietnamese currency, Rodney Howard Browne, Todd White, Qanon, cooking and eating good food, your cats and so much more! You were a kooky, funny, interesting, eccentric individual. There will never be another one like you! I will miss you, but I am grateful that I had you in my life for almost 53 years. I’m thankful for the quality time we spent in Israel and all the laughs and adventures we shared together. You lived every day to the fullest. To know you, was to love you. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in Peace! Goodnight sweet Prince! Paul Edward Gonzales (November 23, 1967- November 21,2020)

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Last year I was at the lowest point of my life. Paul called me. It’s the only time we ever talked on the phone. He encouraged me and prayed with me. It’s a memory I will treasure in my heart forever. Love you Paul.

  2. Your inspiration will live on in our hearts. I thank Papa for the time I got to know you and learn from you. See you soon Sr. Taco

  3. Paul you were so gentle in helping me understand dinar. I am still a techno klutz but more confident after your instruction. Thanks for shaking the norm and making us laugh as you taught us!

  4. Paul was a man after God’s own heart. He exemplified the fruits of the spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. You have reached the greatest reward any one could ever hope for, being with Jesus for all eternity, because of what Christ has done for you, and you putting you trust in Him. I always loved how you called Him “Papa” and spoke of “Holy Spirit” often. Your personal relationship with the Lord shined bright! Thanking God for you!

  5. I never met Paul in person, only on social media. Paul, your humor, zeal and energy were top shelf. You’re love for YHWH and your diplomacy in dealing with others who didn’t agree with you, was quite admiral to say the least. I am fortunate to know you and know you are cheering the rest of us on. A special blessing over your household and love, peace and comfort to them. Till we meet on down the trail!

  6. I’ll always remember you in the desert. I’ll remember how you and Helen helped us to buy tickets! I’ll remember how we prayed together in the desert and the time when you phoned us on messenger and prayed for us. You were unique. Until we meet again in heaven one day.

  7. My first wine cooler. Paul became my big brother at church. He took care of me. Gave me rides to church and home. He was one of a very few who knew where I lived because I was ashamed of my house. He didn’t care. I can’t remember why I was sad and upset, but he picked me up and had a 4 pack of wine coolers. Strawberry wine coolers. He asked me if I wanted one. I said sure. He was my friend, my brother, and I love him very much. I always have and I always will.

  8. Paul, was a wonderful Man of God ….he was a Beautiful!, kind, gentle, compassionate, loving human being ..that he would go out of his way to encourage and bless others….He had a heart pure Gold..❤ very special man…I will miss him.. Love you, Paul….. Dance with Jesus…🌹 Sing with the Angels… 😇 be at peace my brother..my friend….Love Eileen❤

  9. Michelle and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. But what do know is that Paul heard the words we all hope to earn one day. “Welcome home my good and faithful servant, welcome home.” I pray a peace for you all that surpasses all understanding and that the joy of knowing our reunion in Heaven is eternal. Susan Dose Blevins.

  10. Michelle, I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. He was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. I am glad y’all found each other and got to share some wonderful time together. May God bless you in your time of healing and I send you love and many tight hugs. Paul, Rest In Peace.
