Peggy Perry

peggy perry
Peggy Perry passed away January 20th. She is survived by her only child, Sandra, three granddaughters, six great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. In April 2012, Ms. Perry was honored as a "Healthcare Hero" by the San Antonio Business Journal having worked as a volunteer greeter at the NIX Alamo Heights Health Clinic for the last two years. This honor solidified her 60 year commitment to the medical field starting her career as a medical secretary in 1947 and eventually joining the radiologist team in Dallas that developed the heat shield for the Apollo astronauts. Ms. Perry proved the motto: "If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life." Ms. Perry will be laid to rest in Dallas next to her husband at Restland. A lover of people, pets and all things Asian and Egyptian, she will be greatly missed as her passing was too soon.

Guestbook

  1. Peggy will truly be missed by fellow Senior Gold members and patients and staff at Nix Alamo Heights. Peggy could talk her way into anyone’s heart and then she had a friend for life. Her smile, genuine interest in fellow man and animal, and curiosity about the world around her made her one of a kind. It was my pleasure and honor to have known her.
