Our beloved Preston Arthur Trinkle, entered eternal rest on the 26th day of July with family near his side. He was 57 years of age. Preston was born on December 9, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Garrett.
He met the love of his life, Beverly, at a wedding and the two shared a beautiful union of 34 years, raising their only son together. Preston had a genuine love for people and his family. He spent much of his time being a loving and devoted husband, and supportive father. Coaching his son Matthew in baseball was one of many things that brought him joy. He also truly enjoyed a few hobbies such as grilling, hunting, traveling, and recently gardening.
Preston worked as a GIS analyst, where he served many years until he retired. His absence is heartfelt and his physical presence will be dearly missed.
He leaves to cherish in his memory, his beloved wife, Beverly Trinkle, his only son: Matthew Trinkle (Jessica); his father & mother-in-law: Wilfred and Marilyn Habermann; and numerous other close relatives and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 5:00pm -7:00pm, at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston St. with a Memorial Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 501 North St., Converse, Texas 78109. Inurnment will follow in MeadowLawn Memorial Park (Mary’s Garden).

Preston was a good man, and a wonderful part of our family. I’m so very sorry that he has passed on. My condolences to you, Bev and Matthew, in this difficult time.
Losing him is tough, but I’m grateful for all the great memories we made. Uncle Preston made life better just by being in it, and I’ll always remember that.
