  1. my father, he lived a good,long life. he didnt regret anything that i i know of. he had 6 children ( audrey, thelma, gloria,david,dennis,terry), 7 when you include keneth from his second wife maryjo. i remember his smile. he was serious about it. he was a truck driver all his life. drove big ukes in the iron mines in minn. before ww2. was in the transportation core during the war and drove truck until he was in his 70s. he drove milions of miles w\out a wreck. had awards for doing it. when i was 6 yrs old he took me with him to deliver grain to the mill. it is one of my most cherished memories. another was rideing on his full dress harley davidson. i remember how big the seat was. id sit behind him with my arms around his belly and the sound it made so deep and thunderous.he loved fishing although i never got to go w\ him. maybe some day i will or maybe ill go for another truck ride with him. my father my dad
