Ricardo E. Guerrero Sr. went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the age of 85. He was born April 3, 1937 in Elmendorf, TX to the late Guadalupe Esparza Guerrero and Guillermo Guerrero. Ricardo was a hard-working man who was always moving around doing different things around the house. He was known as “The Silver Fox” by his former employer. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing and barbequing his great tasting Ribs with the family. During the family gathering they played loteria, poker, and listen to music. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch swinging and reminiscing about the good old days. He truly enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his brothers as well.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Federico Guerrero, Celia Guerrero Sosa. Ricardo will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Margarita A. Guerrero; children, Susie Hernandez (Juan Saldana), Eleanor Shunkwieler (Lance), Diana Hernandez (Chavel), Ricardo Guerrero Jr. (Leticia); grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney, Ben, Joshua, Bianca, Rico, Matthew, William, Gino, Dakota, Maddax; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Kharisma, Christian, Joshua Jr., Sophia, Nevaeh, Orion, Aiden; brothers, Jocobo Guerrero, Arturo Guerrero, Adolfo and Sylvia Guerrero, Miguel and Nora Guerrero, Raul Guerrero and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 5:00pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00am at Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Hedwig Annunciation Catholic Cemetery.
