Richard Trevino Sr., age 70, of San Antonio, TX passed away to a better place on April 11th, 2022 of natural causes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Jane Trevino, 5 Children, Luis Trevino, Richard Trevino Jr., Alexander Trevino, Elizabeth Trevino, & Mario Trevino. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren who were his pride & joy. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Theresa, Manuel, Roy & Stella.
Our father was a proud man, husband, father, grandfather and proud Marine Corps Veteran who served his country.
We would not be forgiven if we did not include that he was a lifelong passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He never met a stranger, was very gracious with his time and helpful to anyone that needed a hand- family, friend or stranger.
He loved his family and had a green thumb that he was very proud of and didn’t mind sharing his harvest and knowledge with those that appreciated the same.
His love of food and family came out in his BBQ which was amazing, & poker nights with the family, in which he showed no mercy but many lessons in patience & thought.
A very responsible person from a very young age, our father was self-taught in everything he did and that was a lot. From auto repair to construction and as a long-haul truck driver in which he cherished seeing all parts of our country.
Our father took pride in doing things right and helping whenever he was called on.
Never a man of many words, he could easily show love and affection by his actions.
We will miss him greatly, but we will all be strengthened by his love, toughness and thoughtfulness.
May he Rest In a well-deserved Peace.
