Robert Eugene Moore

Robert Eugene Moore affectionately "Bobby" was born November 3, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Iva Bell Pitts and Charles Moore Jr,. He passed away April 25, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, sister Margaret Louse Lightfoot and brother Charles Moore III. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of West End Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas. He attended Grant Elementary, Dunbar Juniour High and graduated from Wheatley High School. Robert was a letterman and was on the track championship team. Robert married Norma Gordon in 1964 to this union four children were born. Robert was a hard worker, working at the Baptist Hospital, Milam Garage and retired from Fort Sam Houston after 25 years of employment. His passion was singing. He sang karaoke around the city and had a loyal group of fans and followers. In his circle he was a celebrity. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Lynnett Moore, Robert G. Moore (Melva)., Charles F. Moore, Gracie Moore, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, siblings Edward Moore (Margie), Gladys Grace Jenkins, Floyd Moore, Patricia Campbell (Paul), Brenda Byrd, Scarlet Elaine Dixon (James), Dennis Moore (Cynthis), Iva Rochelle Robertson (Clifford), nieces, nephews, extended family members and loving friends.
