Robert G. Thomason
June 5, 1964 ~ November 29, 2022
Robert “Robbie” Thomason, age 58, was born on June 5, 1964. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was the husband of Stacy Thomason, and they shared 34 years of marriage together.
Born in Lancaster, California, he was the son of Sherman Thomason and Pamela Fulcher. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and was honorably discharged 3 years later as an Avionic Navigation Systems Specialist. He worked in aviation his entire life on the quality side of the industry. He started as a regular A&P Mechanic, working his way to Chief Inspector. Robert moved to Texas in 2006, to assume the position of Director of Quality at VTSAA. In 2015, he left that role to become a FAA inspector. This was his final endeavor, as it was something he always dreamed and aspired to do.
Throughout Robert’s life, he was engaged in a great deal of diverse activities such as robotics, youth football, and even raising livestock. He will be remembered for the many lives he touched as a mentor in these fields. Livestock, specifically cattle, was his main hobby. He accompanied his late daughter, Brittney Thomason, to a countless number of livestock shows throughout the state of Texas.
Robert is survived by spouse, Stacy Thomason and his son, Ryan Thomason. He also leaves behind his 4 siblings, Tony, Heather, Doreen, and Julie. While he leaves us here physically, he will be rejoined with his daughter Brittney, who departed us on July 20, 2021, in heaven for their final rest. He will be missed by his family members, friends, pets, and colleagues.

You always knew when Robbie was in the room. He will be greatly missed.
Dear God, We pray for Stacy and Ryan. We ask that you comfort them with peace and love.
Very shocking and sad news. Let the almighty God keep his soul in peace and gives strength to his mourning family.
My sincerest condolences to Stacey and Ryan. My heart is broken for you two. I have so many memories working with Robbie, may he rest in peace 💔
My thoughts and prayers are with the Thomason family and friends, Robbie was very instrumental in my career and I can’t thank him enough for that. Bruce
I worked under Robbie as his Chief Inspector until he moved over to run Hondo. One thing I can say about Robbie is he would voice his opinion. God give strength to Stacy & Ryan. Rest in peace.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:1-3
These verses helped me deal with my father’s passing and I hope it will help you as well.
Tough Loss. Rest well Robbie. Always a friend and mentor but more important a brother in the Lord. Rest well in the loving arms of our savior Jesus Christ and see you on the other side of eternity.
I knew Robbie for a short time after joining the San Antonio office. I enjoyed our conversations and I know his passion for Aviation and Safety and helping others. I am mindful of the pain and sorrow you are going through, and my heart is heavy. My prayer is that our Creator will give you peace and healing, and confidence in his promise. Although we cannot understand his plan, we can be sure we are in his Hands.
