  17. Dear family, It tears me apart that I can’t be with y’all during this sadden time. I will never forget being so little in his lap watching his crazy wrestling and pigging out on popcorn with LOTS of butter, while all other kids were playing in the yard. I can still smell the cigar smoke that was around him, hear his laugh, and sarcasm. I’ll always remember my excitement I had when he came all the way to AZ to see my graduation. I love you grandpa. I love you so much!! Hope to see all of my family in Texas real soon.

  20. I can’t tell you all enough how wonderful it is too see the flowers, the emails, cards, and presence of those that traveled many miles to be with the family. It was a beatiful time, and it has honored dad, and he would be proud, yet humbled at the turnout and wonderful expressions of love for him and all of us who loved him. The fact that he became a Christian is what fills our heart with joy even though he has passed from this earth. Our whole family owes a debt of gratitude to Meadowlawn Funderal Home for the amazing support to our family. They really came through and showed much concern, patience and talent for our entire family at this time. We thank you! And thank all those friends, family, and others whose daddy’s life touched. We love you so daddy!!!!
